Submissions
Guidelines for all anthology submissions
Charming Fetish, an imprint of Periapt Press, pays a flat rate of $25 per story at this time, and provides a digital author copy.
All submissions must be sent to periaptpressinfo [at] gmail [dot] com. The email should contain the story as an attachment, with a short cover letter in the body of the email. The subject of the email should be: Submission for (Name of Collection), (Title by Author).
Please submit your manuscript in a standard manuscript format – 12pt Times New Roman, double spaced lines, and your name and your story’s name on the first page, along with your email address – and attached in .RTF or .DOCX formats. Please feel free to include your pronouns (optional). Note, you do not need to add your mailing address or legal name to your manuscript. We will only ask for that information if your story is chosen for publication. Your file name should include your name, the title of the work, and the collection you’re submitting to.
Your cover letter should contain the length of your story and information that might be relevant to that specific submission. You should also include a short biography, written in third person.
By submitting, you acknowledge that your story has not been created through the use of generative AI at any point. If we subsequently discover the story was created through the use of AI, we reserve the right to refuse to publish, or to unpublish, the story.
Please do not send multiple submissions at once.
We try to respond to all submissions in 30 days. Please feel free to query periaptpressinfo [at] gmail [dot] com if we’ve had your submission for over 45 days.

About Us
When Drea, Founder and Ringmaster of Periapt Press, was beginning her publishing journey, she had a lot of friends who wrote erotica and spicy romance. Many of those friends specifically wrote speculative erotica and spicy romance, mostly of the science fiction and fantasy varieties. When a couple of those friends reached out to Drea asking if her nascent company had a spot for them, she decided to make one.Charming Fetish exists to be a home for speculative romance that falls into the categories of Open Door Euphemistic, Open Door Descriptive, and Open Door Descriptive with Kink. That said, it also exists to be a home for stories full of emotion, interesting characters, and happy endings.
